Haiku - Yosa Buson 1716 - 1783

      Sparrow singing-
its tiny mouth
      open.

                             ***

      The spring sea rising
and falling, rising
      and falling all day.

                               ***

      The cherry blossoms fallen-
through the branches
      a temple.

                                     ***

      That snail-
one long horn, one short
      what’s on his mind?

                                        ***
